Learning To Trust

I believe that in the same way we search the ground for minerals, if we search deeply into books, we would find an equivalent of gold to your soul, spirit and mind. The power of knowledge is always enough to cause a paradigm shift to greater realities. A deep study of the scripture reveals to you the unwritten verses that only God can make known to a man. Right there in the scripture, about the mid-section, the sage king Solomon put down the fastest means to find peace and comfort in life. He wrote ''Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding''. But notice how the Amplified put it "lean on, trust and be confident in the LORD" (Pro 3:5). In this very verse, Solomon was saying that in the same way you lean on an erect pole when tired because you trust its stability, he admonished that you lean on the Lord with the same level of absolute confidence in Him. In fact, i believe leaning is the primary evidence of absolute trust. Therefore, why not have the same absolute trust in Him as you do in that rickety pole? When life's battles have tired you out, learn to lean on Him, learn to trust Him, learn to obey Him, because that's the only route to bounce back as a conqueror. In a wrestling or boxing match, the fighter knows that when strength fails, revitalization comes by resting on the ropes even as he recuperates. Now i'm telling you that God is your source of true vitality. It doesn't matter how bad a blow the debts effect had on you, or the failed relationship, or the poor background, God is saying 'don't trust your understanding or reasoning of things alone.....that what shall be shall be....or that you are meant for the blows, rather trust absolutely on Him, because He's giving you that great break of relief on a permanent basis if only you would just lean (Mal 4:2). And here's why you should believe, the son of a former fail-out wrote that verse as king, something this ex fail-out also died as. His father rose from nothing to greater realities indeed. Hence, you might have failed numerous times, but you were not sustained to stay a failure; thus just a whole commitment to trust can thrust you into a whole new dimension of life.....for blessed is the man who puts his trust in the Lord. Why not give it?

What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
