Learning To Trust (2)

DAILY VITAMIN
The story of God and Moses gives us a glimpse into the true meaning of what Jesus meant when He said ``Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world``(John 6:33). Prior to his meeting with Pharaoh, God told Moses how He was going to let Pharaoh reject Moses' words on numerous occasions for reasons best known to Him; but one thing was sure: God was teaching Moses to learn how to trust Him, and to comfort himself in Him even when after so much, so little seems to be achieved....you know why? Because it's only temporal, but God's promise of a deliverance is ever permanent. The Israeli populace were facing their worst nightmare- Pharaoh was adamant, and their tasks were made more cumbersome to keep them jaded at all times; yet word kept coming from God that it wasn't enough reason to have sleepless nights. Just like Moses, you might have encountered some situations that appear insurmountable. You have tried and tried, yet it seems as though your trials were inefficient even when it's your best.....Cheer up! Don't focus on the problem, focus on God. You are an overcomer, because Jesus dealt with that problem a long time ago. Whatever you're facing is just a facade of what Jesus already overcame on your behalf. So i suggest you confront yourself in that knowledge; and trust God to help you through as He promised in Christ Jesus. Notice what Moses said to Pharaoh about how he was placed there to fulfill God`s purpose of glory (Exo 9:16). In the same way, your circumstance is destined not to waste you, but to exalt you in God`s glory. Only believe His words that because you fear Him, He will reward you (Proverbs 13:13). Hence, don't let your problem measure you up by sensing it with human intellect, rather sense it by God`s own way of life, and let faith cause you to relive the promise of you being an overcomer.
