Live Beyond Just Good Enough

DAILY VITAMIN
Weevils are basically herbivorous bugs, but by a deeper look into their lifestyle, they relate to us how we, as humans, limit ourselves all because we've chosen a comfort zone as our permanent preference even when it is just mediocrity. Weevils love bean seeds; and as a result preferably live in them, such that regardless of how much you expose them to the free world, they prefer the sack full of beans. Now, know this: God didn't create weevils attached to the bean plant, it just revolutionized, creating a niche for itself in the core of almost every bean seed when allowed, the same way man revolutionized into loving pork, mutton and beef rather than the other meat kinds the ancient men would have consumed. The irony is that because the weevil refuses to leave the bean sack, it might never get to see a free world which has much more sacks where that came from. The same applies to us. Most of us are simply comfortable with the way we are, the habits we have, our present mental strength and spiritual state, even though we are aware it leaves us at a disadvantaged point. Our indecision to get better than our prior status, and our inability to step out into the unknown ahead simply because our present appears safe and free of risk, brings us to a point in reality known as stagnation. A world where no birds fly over your head isn't anything but fiction, and so therefore if you are so afraid the birds might lay on your head, you would just remain indoors, doing nothing perhaps and getting nothing too. Thus, don't be afraid to take that next step needed to be a better person, to drop that terrifying habit, to increase your mental strength and to know God more. Don't be afraid to go past the limits of the usual you set for yourself, or the hindrances fear of "what may happen if i do?" put in your way. Do you know why God used the stars and sand to describe the degree of His blessings to Abraham? He did so that Abraham won't limit himself. Except Abraham could count them all, he wouldn't fix God to a limited number, but He used innumerables so that he sees that it's beyond limit. It's a prayer of mine to live this way as GOD intended for Abraham, and i hope it's yours too. Hence, the potentials and the possibilities ahead of you are limitless, don't be a weevil kind of person who says "here is good enough for me", simply because he is too unbelieving to conceive that greater things lie ahead in God's plan for him, rather be the person who is always ready to take it all as God brings it, and step all the way out as He calls you, because indeed God is more than just a God of "good enoughs", He is the GOD of "Greater than these" (John 1:50).
