I've Learned There Is A Giant Within

DAILY VITAMIN
I'd like us to go on a series i term 'God has taught me' as we have for a while now, such that everyone can share a bit of what has been a personal lecture from God in their lives, perhaps through the ''comment'' option, or any means you'd prefer, so that others like you and i can gain a little additional influence to move our lives further faster. So here's one i've learned; Peter confessed 'God has showed me not to call any man common...' (Acts 10:28). That simple statement carries great weight because it reveals the so great redefining and transforming power of God. Peter had learned to see that indeed like John said God can use stones to take the place of princes, even as the heathen could then be translated into jews in heart. In essence, every person carries within him/her the potency to express some great degree of glory, because God is able and willing to make that happen. Therefore,
1) Never look down at others:
Like it's said, the grasses may once look down at the tip of the iroko, but give it some time, and it becomes several feet above the weedy grasses. Thus, never look at people as though they had no potentials...like commoners, because truly likr stars God has embedded enough energy to shine in dominion within the creature man, and so they have enough to light up the whole world; a world you might not enjoy if you keep being critical and conceited. So rather than be a pessimist, always see the best in people. In my lifetime, I have seen a whole lot of people grow from nothing to everything. I have had people who once sat on the same seat as I did grow into greater offices. The truth is that people are bound to expand; it would only be foolish to be the one who couldn't believe it. Jesus the carpenter's son became the world's messiah. Joseph a slave became a national leader. Nelson Mandela a prisoner became a president. People always grow into the giant they are within- so never belittle anyone.
2) Never look down at yourself:
Amidst your origin or status, God has the capacity to make you more than you are today. In fact, the worst thing in life is self doubt. Even if the whole world come together in doubt against you, it can never pull the same amount of energy in effect as would be if you doubted yourself. You may not look like a winner, but never accept that you are a loser. Set standards that are bigger than you, and expect to meet them. Impossibilities may have been the only possibility you know, but don't keep it as such. Peter never believed Cornelius' transformation could be possible, but it did happen. God is still in the business of do the impossibles; and so you might just be another Cornelius, breaking through impossible barriers to become all God has said you shall be by promise. But first, learn not to think common or unclean, rather see potentials even when you can find none, for indeed God can do anything. Only believe!
Hence, never forget to remember that there is a giant in every man- even you, all you have to do is awaken it to live the fullness of the life you were made to live.
