God Has Taught Me (2)

DAILY VITAMIN
#Godhastaughtme
When Jesus said 'Without Me you can do nothing' (John 15:5), was He defying the essence of talents, hardwork and destiny. Did He take away the accolade of success from the arms of industriousness and talents? This and more i hope we'd learn today. So here's what i've learnt on this: We are like computers having 'hardwares' within our compartment that make us complete, and loaded with 'softwares' to go beyond limitations; yet without being connected to a power source- whether directly to a circuit, or by use of a cell, the system won't work. We find our completeness in God. And that's why its true that nothing can help us unless God does. Look around, there are a lot of individuals radically overwhelmed with multiple talents, yet they are still way below par...far behind their expected ends. Many with billionaire familiars, yet still languishing in the pool of penury. God's decision and ability to bless a man is what makes a man. For instance, it was by God's blessings that Adam gained the outright dominion to reign above all creatures before the fall. So what do you do knowing that only Him can make your expected your actualized? Protect the power source. Unlike Adam, keep the current flowing, and don't cut the power. Regardless of how massive a gifting you possess, it's nothing unless God's working in it. The bread and water of Israel did little good to them until God blessed it (Exodus 23:25). So, even if you don't learn anything today, learn this: We can't be truly made until God makes us. He brings out the real potentials in us and expresses it to the extreme. Hence, keep the power surge coming. Keep the fire burning, for though without Him we can do nothing, but with Him we can do all things (Phil 4:13). Thus, keep Him on your side; and let this holiday be an avenue to fix any broken connection between you and your Power source- God, because you'd need it in the coming years.
