 One truth that would remain extant throughout time is that setbacks and defeats will come on the journey to achieving your dreams. At such times, patience is what we need as a major priority. Carl Jung observed that “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness,and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.It is far better to take things as they come along with patience and equanimity". There's no such thing as a trouble-free life, but there is such as a trouble-less life, and it is determined by our reactions towards whatever we encounter in life. Thus, do not ever let life's up and downs make you lose track of your goals, thereby driving you into a state of unneeded panic. In that panic many a person fail to do one simple thing that could have changed the entire outcome of their misadventure. That is simply to return back to the faith that assures it is well and get as much knowledge revolving around their next step, as they wait patiently for its arrival. You too, could be that close to success, so don't blow it. Jesus looked at the teacher of the law, and said to him, 'You are not far from the kingdom..'(Mark 12:34). Same way, you are so close to all God has prepared for you. Don't mess it all up with an act of impatience. He also said 'In patience, Possess your souls' (Luke 21:19). Don't let the saddening events happening around you coerce you into losing all that lays in your future. Don't let one setback steal the multiple combacks God has scheduled for you. Be patient in Him to come through for you. The scripture promises that the righteous falls seven times and rises up again. Don't stay down at your first fall, trust God enough to get up because it's not His plan to keep you downcasted. Never be the man that history would list under those who lost their best because they couldn't be patient enough to wait for it, rather be on the bucket list of achievements of those who intend to be like men who through patience received their very best. Remember, a setback is only a setup for a comeback; so don't let that setback keep you from coming back to the glories already prepared for you.

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. Richly, not in terms of quantity or even quality, nor quantifiable mass, but richly based on how much from the heart it is given. Was the heart rich in compassion, God's love and mercy as it gave? DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
