The Power Of The God Factor

DAILY VITAMIN
The influence of God upon a man is what makes him a force to be reckoned with. Our efforts are important since God made man to work when He placed him to tend the garden, yet it's not his best effort that makes the radicle sprout out from the dying seed, it's God's doing. So we must know that before it is us, it must first be God. Our advancement in life is a function of God's hand over us. 'Not by power nor might, but His Spirit' (Zech 4:6). God is the only indivisible factor in life that cannot be altered or hindered by circumstances. Thus, it becomes wisdom to do as the Psalmist did. On the spot, he made a new covenant with himself, that no matter what happened, only God shall guide him. Not himself, not circumstances. Not primarily best efforts or worst efforts, because if God guides us to a state of renown, then we'd rather have Him lead than have us lead (Ps 48:14). Hence, we may not be where we want to be; circumstances may stand as one formidable barrier, but if we would learn to let God lead, we'd eventually end up where He wants us to. David said as small as Zion is, multitudes of kings together fled before them. Why? Because God led them (Ps 48:4-5). That can be your story too, if you would just  let Him lead.

Furthermore, The secret to the glorious life we all desire is found in our ability to hold on despite the odds against us. James 1:12 tells us that God rewards those who persist in faith in trying situations. For instance, if you are carrying out a business negotiation, there will be potholes to make you back down, but if you persist despite the annoying dispositions of other partners, you will win yourself a deal. Same way if you're experiencing an avalanche in your relationships that make you want to throw the years you've invested in it all away even when you know they are the right pair, if you'd only hold on despite their unpleasant response yesterday, you will win yourself a saved relationship. God is literally telling us that if we just hold on, we'll see glory at the end. So this is my cue to say that regardless of what you're passing through, please hold on. Be strong because if God has said it, then He got it all in control. And if we'd just hold on, we would see that indeed He had it all in control. Hence, never give up for at the end of every tunnel there is light. Strive to get to that end of your tunnel.
