Love Is The True Measure Of Life

He who lives loves, and he who loves lives.The extent of how well a life is lived is measured by the extent by which it loved. The Bible calls love the fulfillment of all laws (Rom 13:10),  and Jesus coming to fulfil same (Matt 5:17) established His place as the greatest love of all time. Therefore, the most primary step to live as Jesus do is to lead a life of love. By love, Jesus now reigns; by love you will. Also, Mother Teresa didn't own a yacht. She didn't own a top notch firm, and she definitely didn't own a professional sport team; but today she's so popular as though she owned all three. Many billionaires are dead and long forgotten, yet this non-billionaire remains clinging to the memories of many. All she ever did was love- giving it unconditionally as Christ's grace strengthened her to. Love is the greatest impact any man could ever receive, and give. And like i said in the previous note, with such great an impact, a man never dies. Time and space won't permit me to speak of the several other examples who practised the act of living forever through ample expressions of love. However, let Jesus be enough for you. He loved the world so much to give His life for it, and now he is declared ever living and glorious forever. Martin Luther King Jr once said that ''until a man has found a cause to die for, he is not fit to live''. That is to say true living only begins when there's an object of love you're willing to pour all of yours on, regardless of what it takes to achieve it. A cause that can draw out from your well of ungiven love, thereby triggering bolsters of life-changing affections and compassions. True living only begins the moment your heart starts bleeding out love for the welfare of all each time it pumps out its blood content. True living begins on the platform of a love that yearns to give life with reckless abandon. The record of John says of Jesus 'Having loved His own, He loved them to the end' (13:1). Until we give ourselves to love without end, we may never get to live without end. Hence, let this season be one where we establish our never-ending lives on the set-stage of love. In every bit and in all ways possible find a means to give out more love than you can ever take in; for it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35)

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. Richly, not in terms of quantity or even quality, nor quantifiable mass, but richly based on how much from the heart it is given. Was the heart rich in compassion, God's love and mercy as it gave? Or was it full of egotism, self-pride and every trait that makes him believe it is all in his power? DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. DAILY VITAMIN What's the most important thing to you in life? Think for a while before you answer. And you can take as long as it takes. Alright! Are you ready now? Let's continue. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up. We so much pursue self-purposed desires that we miss those God sends our way to impact; not that they didn't show up, but that we failed to notice their arrival.  And guess what: Our silver lining of greatness in the sands of time and in the mouth of men is not built by the success we built for ourselves, but by how much success we attained in imparting and influencing people.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
