- You Were Made To Overcome
No matter what you are passing through, you have been given the capacity to overcome it. The scripture states that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Cor 10:13 NIV). So regardless of whatever breakdown you may have experienced, you can break out of it. It is in you to breakthrough them all; all you have to do is start with agreeing with what God says about you, become consciously aligned with it, and in time your inner person would have mustered enough strength and courage to endure the present and also push your whole being into a more desirable future simultaneously. God instructs us who have Him as our Lord to trust Him in such dreadful situations, for not only is He our help and shield for times like this, but He will also remember to bless us in it (see Ps 115:11-12). Always have it in mind that God's primary target is to ensure we live victorious lives while we yet live on the earth; and for Someone who has such intention, it is only right to say that He has already provided the means to assist you overcome that challenge. So, are you an addict of whatever sort willing to be free of such? No matter how hard it seems, God has given you strength in the inner man to do so. Simply become lively to His words 'If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed', and like a dream of the night, you'd wake up to find yourself winning a battle you once couldn't even approach. Your own case may be different, but God is the same. No matter what your situation may be, God says you are bigger than it, and can overcome it; and here's your alibi for that- "He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You can overcome that ordeal my friend; i know you can- once again, only agree with God's word, live consciously in it, and in time you'd be living a victorious life before God and men.
