Persist To Prevail

DAILY VITAMIN
- Persist To Prevail
Life gives everyone of us a persistence test. It is somewhat like it lets no one enjoy great achievements without passing the persistence test. Those of us who can't take it simply do not make the grade that leads to our change of levels. However, here's something that should cheer you up; that regardless of how hard the challenge may be, the compensation is always worth it as an add-on. These are the words of Paul: "We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.....For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh" (2 Cor 4:8-9,11). No matter what you're passing through, you have life (a new beginning) awaiting not only in God's world, but also in this world of ours (Mark 10:29-30). So, expect that sickness out of your life in due time, for health to be restored. Expect that lack to vanish in due time, for the rain of abundance to descend. Expect better things to come your way, for that is always God's intention for His people; and this you prove true by refusing to fall despite how much life hits you. No matter how far you've bent as a result of the constant hits, choose to go up in response, not down. Choose to stand not fall; because, dear, that's where the life is. "Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Cor 4:16-18). Find strength to go on by standing on God's promises concerning you. Hence, no matter what life's thrown on you so far, stay persistent on the promise of the dream; and believe God you'd get there. Life will give any person a cup of tea and pastries, but it demands peersistence of those who go after the big stakes; for riches in all its forms does not respond to wishes, but to a definite purpose, backed by definite plans with persistence. Thus, in any any endeavour whatsoever, to prevail, Persist.
