Let God Always Be First (2)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Let God Always Be First (2)
Jesus said "Without Me, you can do nothing" (John 15:5). So in essence, We are not looking for a God we can carry into our dreams, we are looking for a God that can carry us into our dreams. Don't try to drive God, let Him drive you; for we can't do anything without Him on the steering wheel of our lives. Don't get so driven by the work of your hands that you neglect the Lord of the work. God made you for His purpose, His use, and His glory, and unless you are living by that, you are not living at all. For instance, when a system works against the instructions of its programmer, it is either reseted or disposed; and believe me none of these is that beneficial for it, because both takes it back to square one. Like that system, when we choose to live outside God's intended will for us, we only achieve taking ourselves more steps behind. Israel seemed so close to Canaan, but as soon as they started living in an 'anti' mode to His will, they found themselves fourty years behind schedule. To avoid such unneed diversions from destiny, embrace the need to live in accordance to His will, His ways, His call. If there's something i've learn't like i said in the first of this series, it is that you can never win against God's will, only with it. Paul said "we can do nothing against the truth, but only for it" (2 Cor 13:8) So, rather than keep struggling all because you can't yield to it, do yourself the best good you can do yourself by letting Him come first in everything you do.  Furthermore, in this life, there is only one Driver, while we are all passengers. But this time around, we gain less by telling Him where we want to go, and more by letting Him tell us where we should go. Remember there is nothing as good for you than God's best for you. So you can either choose to go with the 'go with your guts' campaign the need to make something out of your life urges you to, or you can pick a more finesse option to drain the exasperation you feel by choosing to go with God unto where destiny calls. David remarked "He leads me beside the still waters"; thus He not us should do the leading if we must end up victorious in life as David did. Hence, in all walks of life you engage in, choose to let God take the first step, and when He does, follow it faithfully.
