Let God Always Be First (1)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Let God Always Come First (1)
There is nothing as good as God's best for you. Sometimes, we may feel like we've lost too much when God's will avert what seemed ideal  from us, but believe me God never makes mistakes. No matter how precious such things or persons are, what He has prepared ahead for us fits the cost; and it's way more than we'd ever be able to appreciate. We may have our own plans for how best to live- where we want to go, how we want go there, and stuffs like that, but only God truly knows what's good enough for us. For goodness sake, He created us, knows our ends and needs. So Him only should truly know our greatest need in life; and if we want to enjoy these the reality of these needs, we've got to learn how to trust Him fretlessly. Plus, here's the tricky part; Until we want what God wants, we will never be happy, nor have the soothing peace that is rare to most of mankind today, nor the unsurmountable joy He promises us- that best describes fulfilment. For instance, Moses couldn't find joy in being an Egyptian monarch; he couldn't find solace in just being a herdsman. His fulfilment only came the day he begun doing what God demanded of him, and living his life aligned to His ways. Well, if Moses couldn't find respite beyond God's will, neither will we. Like Moses, we have to learn to live our lives with our eyes closed to the world's repertoire of lifestyles, and our hearts open to God's way of living- regardless of how unusual it may seem per time. The best our best can take us is the standard we set for ourselves, but the best His best can do for us is His standard for us; and recall that His ways are higher than ours. So the best good we can do for ourselves would be to choose Him over us. Make sure you don't engage in a lost battle; and if you know God as i have learnt of Him thus far, you'd realize that any contest from us against what He wants never ends in our favour. Thus, in all we do henceforth, let's ensure that above all things, we ascertain its God's will for us first; because whether we know it or not, that's where our peace, hope, joy and life lie..... in doing His will.  Solomon said "Commit thy ways unto God, and He shall establish thy thoughts" (Pro 16:3). Choose wisely my friend. Choose God first.
