I want you to boldly tell yourself without an atom of doubt in your heart that it's just a matter of time. Everything God has promised takes just a matter of time to reach fulfilment. As long as you follow His handout of living to attain them, they are a sure thing. Don't fret; don't worry. Time is linear; it's never too long, it's never too short. In fact, regardless of its span given to each and every one of us, it is God's tool for making men. Short or long, it is readily enough for God to accomplish all He wants to. So, don't feel sad that you can't see the promise being fulfilled yet. If I had made the promise to you, then you could feel fretful; but if God, don't, because His word is not bound (2 Tim 2:9). It's not limited by time, space, matter nor circumstances, conditions and convictions, has He said it, He will do it; and ensure it comes to completion (Phil 1:6). Just wait for Him trustfully. Don't compromise. Compromises complicate promises out of fulfilment; rather stay faithful, stay trustful, it's only a matter of time. In fact again, right now, tell yourself "If I have been faithful, I should not be fretful. I don't need to kill myself with irrelevant worries; God will reward my faith in Him".
So my dear, with God we never run out of time. Like I said, time is linear not capsulated; we may capsulate it in our minds, but it's not to God. We tell ourselves that biologically after 50 we stand a 0.001% chance of having babies, but God waited 40 more years with Sarah to prove that with Him, time isn't capsulated; on the contrary with Him, it contains all He says we shall obtain, regardless of how far or short it spans. Note, scripture never says 'in our time', it says 'in its time'. There is time for everything under the sun; and the fulfilment of God's promises to us are not dependent on when we want it, but when He necessitates its accomplishment to be. So despite all that may be happening to you, don't fret, it is only a matter of time. Your turnaround testimony is only a matter of time. Hence, learn to lean on His words to you, and wait for it to be fulfilled. If it doesn't come today, keep waiting it will come because He never fails to keep His promises (see Josh 23:14). Wait for that big break, wait for that marriage, wait for that promotion, wait for that favour, even as you keep doing all required of you to get it, and believe God in time it will come on time. "My heart trusted in Him, and He helped me" (Ps 28:7).
