- God Speaks- And He Wants To Do It With You
The inability of men to hear from God has led to a dramatic extent of losses they have suffered; and woes they have incurred. And so we can say that the biggest deceit a man can let himself fall prey to is to believe that once he doesn't know a thing that those around him don't as well, he can't get what he is looking for. If we are willing to receive answers, God will always be ready to give them. Paul said "Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you" (Phil 3:15). You'd notice that he stated that we can attain perfection in what we seek to do; but it greatly relies on the knowledge we have and apply on the road towards the attainment of such. Furthermore, you'd also notice that he said God-not any man, but God Himself- will reveal exactly what you need to know. Not to the pastor alone, or some seer, but you. God wants to talk to you on an interpersonal basis. And you know what, our lack of consciousness towards this in order to sync ourselves into such blissful fellowship has ruined and marred many good fortunes that were ours for the taking. For instance, the inability of Balaam to perceive the rebuke of God almost cost him his life. It was so outrageous that it took a donkey to save him, and many of such examples in scripture and life at large. What can we learn from here? When we need the greatest help on what to do, God wants to exhort us; when we are gradually subverting our destinies, He wants to caution us; but unless we have groomed ourselves unto the perception of His words, we may never conceive when that moment comes. So God is open to corresponding to each and everyone of us. In Daniel 2:23, it is said that He makes known to us what we desire of Him. And to show you that this is no fluke, the new covenant is built on this. He said "But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him " (1 John 2:27). God wants to be your chat buddy. As i said in the previous note, He wants to be involved in every moment of your life: to teach you, inspire you, instruct you, advice you, console you, motivate you, caution you and to speak to you concerning all things, any thing. So no matter what may be happening around you, or the norms you hold, always know assuredly that God speaks; and you are as free as the wind to approach Him with whatever you need someone to talk to with, and when you do start that conversation, ensure you stay patiently to listen for the answers you earnestly seek. once again, more than anything else, be rest assured that God speaks; and He wants to speak with you. And in this year of great manifestations, that's what we need: A word from God.
