We Are Never On The Disadvantage With God

DAILY VITAMIN
- We Are Never On The Disadvantage With God
It would be very appalling to find believers fretting when under given circumstances. I'm not exempting myself from this; but you see the knowledge of God reveals to us that no matter the circumstance, we are never at a disadvantage. You see, with God circumstances don't matter. The Scripture tells us that as we are filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding, we walk worthy of Him, being Fruitful and strengthened with all might (Col 1:9-11). In fact, the knowledge of God we have puts us at an advantage. It is the true strength of the believer to break down all defenses of impossibility.
In the book of Ezra, we are told of how the people of Judah struggled despite having permission to build the temple. They struggled because they had adversaries from the apex of political power. Just like Paul wrote, a great and effectual door was opened, but the resistance increased. The political juggernauts refused to let them build in peace, with the belief that they had the king at their beck and call to do their bidding. But when this was brought to Darius, to their greatest shock he said, "...Let the work of this house of God alone.....of. the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto this men, that they be not hindered." (6:6-8).
Can you imagine that? A nation giving all its revenues to another. Not some, but all for that season. Not even the G-8 nations can do that. Only God can; for when He is involved, circumstances don't matter. Can you imagine the friend of your enemies working hard to ensure that all works in your favour? Remember, when God is with a man, even his enemies are bent to befriend him. Hence, know this: you're never disadvantaged. Impossibility is not a rival that can withstand you. The God you have is great enough for you. He is He who makes a non-entity out of impossibility in all circumstances.  The Bible calls Him our hope of glory: that is, your first assurance that you will reach glorification. So, don't look at your condition, look at your God.
I don't know what you think you are limited to receiving, but listen my friend, with God you're never at a disadvantage. God's got you; and that's just enough to make you.
