My goal in life is to do everything.....everything I was created to do; such that i could look back toward the end of my life with a smile in my heart, knowing that many of my dreams-if not all-came true, and that they brought a positive impact on the lives of others. The greatest lie we are told at some point in our lives is that there are some things too big for us to accomplish, do, become, learn or understand. For instance, in elementary or high school, your subject teacher told you that you were too dull to become a physician. Well, in that simple statement is a fact and a verbal farce. Your being dull in response to his/her subject at that moment was a fact, but that you could never amount to your desire was a big lie. You don't judge forever with just a moment because change is inevitable. That dullness could be changed into extraordinary brilliance tomorrow. So it is unjudicious to conclude that because of your present circumstances you can't have the future of your dreams. How did God through Paul address this matter? He looked at us from head to foot, and despite some "disadvantages"-as we call them-He may have seen, He said of us, 'You can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us' (Phil 4:13). He was subjective. The person didn't matter, because anybody can. He was also more objective; that is, as long as we know what we want(thus creating a new fact of our own), and want it more than we just know it, we can obtain it. Not some; He said all, including that dream too big for you to accept as possible. Note, any dream that appears achievable with just all you are now isn't really one from God. God gifted dreams are always too-good-to-be-true kind of dreams. Look at Joseph, David and Abraham. Every dream He gives has a place only Him can fulfil; and regardless of how big it seems, He says You can. My friend, don't underrate yourself. You can be anything in the world you want to be. With God you can. Have faith in God's promises concerning His children, including that dream He's given you, and faith will change the fact. Rich Davos said "The only thing that stands between a person and what they want in life is the will to try it and the faith to believe it possible. I only hope this has spurred you to the consciousness that you are more than a creature of "May", but one of "Can"; and believe God, You can do it all.
