God Will Forgive You

DAILY VITAMIN - God Will Forgive You “And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” (Luke 17:4) Matthew 18:22 admonishes us to forgive one another as much as seventy times seven a day. That’s enough forgiveness for one day, right? But it’s proof that God doesn’t withhold His desire for forgiveness. In Ephesians 4:32, He tells us again to forgive one another with tenderheartedness even as He forgave us in Christ Jesus. And when we do this, we show we are His. However, that’s not what I’m trying to show you here. First of all, whatever God tells us to emulate is something He does Himself. So, when He tells us to forgive without count, He is also saying He will forgive us without count. You see, when we sin against the Lord, He makes forgiveness available; all we have to do is return, and He promises to never cast us away (John 6:38). The only sin that can separate us from Him is bl

Knowing The Holy Spirit (2)

DAILY VITAMIN - Knowing The Holy Spirit (2) “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” (2 Corinthians 13:14) Through the Holy Spirit we can constantly move from ‘where the Lord used to be’ to ‘where He is’. That was what He did with the apostles, who used to refer to Christ in the past tense, at least not until the Spirit came to them and revealed Christ in them in the ever continuous present tense. Just like that, He keeps us fresh in the glories of the presence of God; even as we continually bask in the awesome realities of the Godhead He leads us to experience. That’s what the theme scripture says; by the fellowship of the Spirit with us now, we can fully understand and experience the grace of Christ and the love of God continually. Remember, He is called the Spirit of Christ as well as the Spirit of God because they are One Triune Being; and so there’s no better way to know the Father and Son bett

Knowing The Holy Spirit (1)

DAILY VITAMIN - Knowing The Holy Spirit (1) “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offering.” (Hosea 6:6) Everything we know about God is a direct result of the Spirit’s influence upon us. I’m not talking about head knowledge, I’m referring to real intimate knowledge. The scripture says “But ye have received the unction of the Holy One, and ye know all things” (1 John 2:20). Verse 27 goes on to tell us that even things we weren’t thought shall be known because of Him. The same thing Jesus said He would do. John 16:13 says He shall teach us all things and guide us into all truth. Now, in the same way, everything we know about ourselves in Christ was revealed by Him. 1 Corinthians 2:12 says that we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit of God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us. So, our identity is a truth only the Spirit can reveal, because He gives us that identity in Christ (Ephesia
