DAILY VITAMIN - Remember You Are The Light Of The World “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5:14) You are an example for others to follow. At least that’s how God sees you and expects you to act every day. As a pacesetter, as a guide; as light. Light leads for others to follow. It shows the path. And so there must be something in your life that shows people how to live rightly for and before God. That’s what He meant in verse 16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”. Something has to be different about you that would bring others to the priceless knowledge of God. Look at it this way: Scientifically, the Sun- which is the most prominent star –is the light of the world. It grooms the earth and keeps it in warmth. But notice something more peculiar: it shines at all times it is meant to. It doesn’t matter if people mock it, it will still shine there. ...

DAILY VITAMIN - God Gives The Responsibility And The Resources “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” (2 Peter 1:3)                    God always provides for anything He assigns us to do. He will never send you on a journey without a means to sustain you. The scripture says He daily loads us with benefits for each day’s work (Psalm 68:19). We might not understand how they will come, but they always do. Our theme scripture tells us that God gives us everything we need for living a truly good life- even sharing His own goodness and glory with us. And this good life is ingrained in our purpose; and He has given us the resources to fulfill it. For instance, consider the Jews who were in captivity. DAILY VITAMIN - Our Fellowship Is Eternal “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” (John 14:16) God promises a union with Him forever. In fact, if you took away the forever part, it loses its essence. Even Jesus told us that He will come to take us that we might be with Him forever (John 14:2-3). And in John 13:1, He made it known that He loves His disciples to the end. You see, this “end” stands for ‘ eternally ’, and not just ‘ permanently ’. Let me explain what I mean by that. The word Permanent is an understatement for His intention towards us. The things that God does in our earthly life are termed to be permanent, but what He desires to do with us are termed eternal in scripture. This is because the term permanence is sometimes used within the closure of time, and thus ceases when a person dies.
