Declare It Boldly

DAILY VITAMIN - Declare It Boldly “You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you: and the light shall shine upon your ways.” (Job 22:28)                 What you say is evidently what you get. That’s why God gives us a mouth and wisdom (Luke 21:15), because it is not enough to just know God’s thoughts and intention concerning you, you have to declare them to possess them.                 In our theme verse, the writer says you will have established in your life whatever you have declared. So, if you declare nothing, you are likely to get nothing as well. It’s a divine principle. When God made everything, He didn’t just imagine it into existence; that wasn’t enough, He spoke them to existence. “And God said…and there was...” (Genesis 1). This is because only words can create tangible matter and material out of our thoughts and emotions. Thus, don’t just think it, speak it, and then act it. If you’re feeling the symptoms of sickness, declare to yourself th

Take With You Words

DAILY VITAMIN - Take With You Words “Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.” (Hosea 14:2)                 It’s very normal that now as Christians whenever we realize we have wronged God or men, we feel bad; because we understand the difference between what’s truly right and wrong by the Spirit of God. But being sad or feeling bad about it isn’t enough. That reveals our remorse concerning what we have done, but it’s not enough. We have to confess it to God and whoever we may have hurt and ask them to forgive us. But you might ask “Why do I need to do that if Christ already forgave me?” Well, it’s because God asks us to do it (James 5:16); and He knows it is the only way we can truly beat the guilt of it. Remember, there is no forgiveness of sins without a prior confession of sins (1 John 1:9). So, feeling guilty won’t cut it. God is much more as interested in your actio

The Blessing In Trusting

DAILY VITAMIN - The Blessing In Trusting “Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust…” (Psalm 40:4)                 Have you ever felt like maybe you just wasted your time believing God could do something you dreadfully needed? Well, that’s probably what the devil wants you thinking in times of difficulty; but always remember that God will never give you anything too hard for you to handle (1 Corinthians 10:13). If He took some time, it’s because He was sure you could handle it; and so that you would finally understand that the risk you took in trusting Him was always actually worth the reward.                 Pay attention to what He said: “None of them that trust in Him shall be desolate” (Psalm 34:22). David recorded those words. He made songs out of them; and he probably had every right to because he amongst other men knew what it felt like to be in between a rock and a hard place with nothing more to placate your fears and pains than your trust in God.
