Don't Judge

DAILY VITAMIN - Don’t Judge “And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left: and also much cattle?” (Jonah 4:11) Two things are clear from there: First, when people do wrong, most times it’s because they cannot discern what is right; and God doesn’t see a need for us to judge them, but of one to save them. Second, if God cared about the cattle so much, don’t you think He cares much more about that fellow you have condemned as irredeemable? A lot of people judge people indefinitely that God has not judged. We make ourselves judge, jury and prosecutor; believing that this set of persons don’t deserve any form of salvation. But guess what? It’s not about what we think, but about what God thinks. And He thinks everyone is worth saving (Matthew 18:14, 1 Timothy 2:4). You see, the fact that you judiciously tried to live a good life and the other fellow didn’t doesn’t mean

The Danger Of Unbelief

DAILY VITAMIN - The Danger Of Unbelief “So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” (Hebrews 3:19) The scripture says that whatsoever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23), and sin is a reproach to the people (Proverbs 14:34). As such, unbelief is sin; and with it comes no good thing at all, because it keeps you living in the denial of the reality of God’s truth. John already told us that those who do not believe in the Son are already condemned (John 3:36). But those are for the outsiders; and it doesn’t end there. There is also imminent danger for the believer- the called out ones –who still indulge in this practice of unbelief; even if it’s just a moment of doubt and negligence towards all God has said. In our theme scripture, those concerned were not the heathens. The writer was speaking about the chosen people of Israel. God had chosen the Jews above every other people on the earth, made them a promise, and was bent on fulfilling it; but as we are told
